Sara Hathorn brings over 15 years of experience in business and finance. She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Mississippi in 2008 and has built a career centered on relationship-based, community-focused banking.

As a Purvis native, Sara understands the local market and the people who call it home. Her experience in commercial and construction lending helps her better understand the unique needs of self-employed borrowers. She enjoys educating first-time buyers and families preparing for their next home purchase, always taking time to listen and guide with care.

Sara believes great banking starts with listening. She values building lifelong relationships and helping clients feel confident in every financial decision they make.

She is deeply involved in the community and serves on the Pink Ribbon Fund Grant Committee, the Petal School District Advisory Committee, and the Petal Elementary Advisory Committee. She is also active with Girl Scouts, Women Business Owners of the Pine Belt, the Hattiesburg Optimist Club, and the Innova Preparatory School PTO. Sara is a 2025 Leadership Pinebelt graduate and was named one of Signature Magazine’s 20 Under 40 Class of 2025.

Sara lives in Petal with her husband and two daughters and remains deeply committed to serving the community she proudly calls home.
